Therapy Team

Therapy Team
Behind every session stands a human being: someone who has also faced loss, change, and the quiet work of rebuilding. Our therapy team brings together psychotherapists and body-oriented, somatic practitioners whose work is rooted in Gestalt, relational presence, depth, and integrity.
Each of us has walked through our own process of healing. That experience shapes the way we meet others: not as experts looking down, but as equals who understand what it means to be human, to struggle, to begin again.
We work integratively: blending relational Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, body psychotherapy, trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches.
What matters most to us is not the method, but the contact: the moment when something in you feels finally met, seen, and understood. Clients often say that our space feels safe yet alive. We don't rush what's not ready; we listen to the body, to silence, to what has not yet found words. We accompany you as you reconnect with yourself: your emotions, your breath, your story. This is a team that believes healing happens in relationships. In that meeting between two nervous systems, change begins, softly but deeply. We offer therapy in Serbian, Croatian, German and Spanish, creating space for you to express yourself in the language that feels most natural and emotionally true.

Transactional Analysis Practitioner (under supervision)

You might not pronounce my last name right the first time, and that's completely fine. I'm used to it.
Over the years, I've worked and connected with people from different cultures and languages, and I know how meaningful and sometimes challenging it can be to build understanding across differences. That's probably why diversity, curiosity, and empathy have become such natural parts of my work.
Before becoming a therapist, I also studied veterinary medicine. My care for living beings has always been at the heart of what I do, whether it's tending to animals or supporting people through emotional healing.
I'm vegan, and I see compassion not as a principle, but as a daily practice of respect toward life in all its forms. Outside the therapy room, I work as a sound engineer, and maybe you've been to a concert where I was behind the mixing desk. People rarely notice the sound engineer, yet he shapes how the audience experiences everything. Therapy, to me, works the same way: often quiet, happening in the background, but essential for harmony to emerge.
My approach is grounded in Transactional Analysis, but shaped by the humanistic and existential philosophies of Irvin Yalom, Carl Rogers, and Viktor Frankl, especially their belief in authenticity, presence, and the search for meaning. In therapy, I aim to create a space that feels safe and real: where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and start to make sense of your experiences. I don't believe in fixing people, but in helping them understand themselves, find clarity, and move toward growth and change.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, relational challenges, grief, and life transitions. People often describe me as calm, grounded, and genuinely present, someone who listens deeply and meets them as they are. I offer sessions in Serbian and English, both online and in person. In both music and therapy, I've learned that what matters most is not volume, but resonance.

Gestalt Psychotherapist

For me, psychotherapy is first and foremost a meeting: a space where two human beings truly encounter each other, and healing becomes possible through presence and connection.
I was drawn to Gestalt therapy because it reflects how I understand life: as a constant dance between awareness, authenticity, and relationship. Rooted in the German tradition of phenomenology and existential philosophy, Gestalt invites us to stay in the here and now, to notice, feel, and meet what is real. That approach deeply resonates with my curiosity about people, cultures, and the many ways we find connection across difference.
My spirit carries both Balkan groundedness and Spanish openness, a mix that shapes the way I listen and relate. Between two languages and two ways of being, I've learned that translation is not only about words: it's about presence, empathy, and the courage to stay connected. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Spanish language teacher, which taught me how people reveal themselves through tone, rhythm, and silence. That sensitivity now lives in my therapeutic work as well. In therapy, I offer a calm and grounded space where clients can feel safe, seen, and respected. I also lead therapy groups, where shared experience and connection often open new pathways for growth and healing.
My name, Mirjana, means "peace" in Serbian, and that sense of calm and harmony is something I try to bring into every encounter, whether through listening, silence, or gentle curiosity. I offer sessions in Serbian, Croatian, and Spanish, both online and in person.
